Melissa Huggins is a prose writer currently at work on a collection of essays. Her stories and essays have appeared in theInlander, Lilac City Fairy Tales, Railtown Almanac, the Oyez Review, and elsewhere. Her author interviews with Joyce Carol Oates, William T. Vollmann, and Emily St. John Mandel have appeared in Willow Springs. A graduate of Eastern Washington University’s MFA program, Melissa is the executive director of Spokane Arts, a nonprofit organization, and she serves on the boards for Scablands Books and Pivot: A Live Storytelling Series.
