Fiction writer and journalist BettyJoyce Nash’s work has appeared in newspapers and magazines, including the Christian Science MonitorThe Richmond (Va.) Times-Dispatch,  WVTF Radio, North Dakota QuarterlyBroad River Review, and C-ville Weekly. In 2015, she won the 2015 F. Scott Fitzgerald Short Story Prize. She’s been a fellow at the Tyrone Guthrie Centre in Ireland, the MacDowell Colony, and The Ragdale Foundation. She earned an MSJ from Northwestern and MFA from Queens, and has taught writing in universities, community writing centers, and jail.
