Adrian Kien is a poet living in Butte, MT. He holds an MFA in poetry from Boise State University. He is the author of the Caress is a Letter of Instruction (Slope, 2012) and several chapbooks and collaborations with his wife, the painter, Kelly Packer. His poetry also appears in the anthologies, Hick Poetics (Lost Roads Press, 2015) and Verde Que Te Quiero Verde (Open Country Press, 2017) His essays on nature and the body frequently appear in the Butte Arts Monthly. Forthcoming in 2018 is the chapbook, Nevada Gangue, from Open Country Press.
